Ms. Chang is a passionate believer in interdisciplinary thinking. Her training and experience spans the domains of Education, Art, International Studies, Design Thinking and Digital Ed Tech. She spent the first decade of her career as an education reformer in K-12 and the next decade in sustainable economic development. From project management in the nonprofit sector and curriculum reform work with school districts to serving as an analyst for sustainability startups, Linda has seen the value of human-centered and interdisciplinary design thinking in a multitude of contexts. She is excited to bring innovative new content and digital tools back into the classroom to enhance students’ learning at Xian Yun Academy, a unique institution that brings together arts and academics to emphasize creative and cross-cultural education for global citizenship.
Linda has a B.A. in Public Policy Studies from the University of Chicago, a M.A. in History and Middle East Studies from the University of Utah, and a M.B.A. in Design Strategy from the California College of the Arts.
